Hi there, strangers of the blogsphere. It’s approximately 2 a.m. on a Monday morning, I’ve just spent the last 7+ hours studying for an upcoming exam and my eyes are twitching something awful. Basically, this is a good day for me. Who knew?
Anyways, I was nominated by the wonderful Ryann the Reader for this awesome award a few weeks ago (thanks Ryann!!!) and I decided to do it now because I’m sick of studying and I’m trying to get through all the tags/nominations I have gotten from some truly wonderful people. Do check out Ryann’s blog, there are some fantastic reviews and more to be found there!
Onto the award:
The Rules:Β
- Each nominee must THANK the person who nominated them and link their blog in the post.
- They must include the rules and add the blog award badge as an image
- Must add 7 facts about them.
- Then nominate 15 people! (Oh dear, I think I may cheat a bit here, sorry!)
My 7 facts (Jesus, such pressure):
1. I plan to get a huge forearm tattoo and about 2-3 right ear piercings for my 21st birthday. This shocks just about everyone I tell because I am apparently the complete oppositeΒ of a “tattoo person”. But I think they’re seriously cool and I’m super excited π
2. I recently pursued a lifelong passion and joined gymnastics; now I do circus aerial and gymnastics back to back and my limbs constantly feel like noodles.
3. I love running. I prefer long distance, but I’ve always been a sprinter so I guess I specialise in both. Once again, my limbs and muscles are constantly noodle-like because of this. But I’m so lazy I only run when I really want to.
4. I low-key hate baking but I’m the only one in my family who does it well. As a result, they all love my baking and the task falls on me. Always. Sigh.
5. The cinema is my second home, and I absolutely love going there. Every aspect of it, from popcorn-buying to sitting through movie adverts, all add to the experience and I adore it.
6. I have a ridiculously sweet tooth and an obsession with candy; I think I suffer from withdrawal if I don’t eat chocolate after every meal as a sneaky dessert. Very sneaky. My friends and family are on the verge of an intervention.
7. And finally: I would really love to dye my hair blue someday, and I think I’ll do it for my 21st birthday too. What a change I’m going to go through that day. A complete book nerd-turned-rebel overnight. What will the neighbours think?? π π
And those were 7 random facts about me! As you can probably tell, I’m a completely inconsistent person. But that’s all part of the fun I believe. Be yourself.
My nominations:*
*I know it said 15 but holy crap it’s 2 a.m and I also have many more tags to get through, I’m sorry!
Sorry if you’ve already done this! No pressure to take part in any case π
Thank you for reading! I’ll have more out (hopefully) later in the week. Bye for now!
These are great!! I also have a HUGE sweet tooth, but for me, the addiction is with ice cream π
And I’ve always wanted tattoos, too! But I really don’t do well with any amount of pain. Or needles. So I don’t know if I’ll ever actually get them

Thanks so much! Ahhh icecream, my second love π As for the tattoos, you never know; maybe start off small and build up your tolerance π

That’s pretty much what I’m hoping to do, I just hope the tattoo artist won’t judge me if I cry a little π

Nah, the artist probably won’t. I’m sure it happens all the time. I’ll most likely tear up too, and my pain tolerance is really high. Go for it!

But dark chocolate is good for you! We can definitely justify our chocolate obsession! π

That’s the thing though- dark chocolate is the only chocolate I don’t really like… I think the intervention is necessary after all!

But…there must be nutrients in milk chocolate? Um..iron? We can make this work!

There’s…milk? That’s healthy, right?! I’m really grasping at straws here! Help!

Thanks for nominating me for this! I hope to get to it sometime soon! I love going to the movies when I have the money for it, it is a lot of fun. I also have a sweet tooth, candy is so good! Especially sour patch kids though I haven’t had any in a long time. Anyway good luck on your test!

Thank you! I hope you have fun with it, can’t wait to see your facts π I’ve actually never tried sour patch kids (live on the other side of the globe) but I definitely will someday!

Congrats on your award! That’s cool that you can do gymnastics. You must be so flexible and does feeling like noodles uncomfortable π that tattoo sounds painful for me so good luck π

Thanks so much! I’m really only at the beginner stage, but I’ve always been quite flexible so I hope the gymnastics improves my form. The tattoo is going to hurt like crazy but it’ll definitely be worth it!

That’s funny about the baking. A lot of times it ends up that you’re good at something you don’t like. That was me and math when I was younger…before Common Core happened, lol.

I know right? It’s because one of my high school subjects involved cooking and baking; now I have the skills but no motivation π

Well, at least you have the skills! I don’t. π¦

πI’m never shocked on how much my smile hurts from reading your posts. The “book nerd-turned-rebel overnight” day is jaw dropping. What will your neighbors think when you also come out with a leather jacket, cool sunglasses, and say “I own this block.” I can see the action movie explosion music playing now. That part where you can bake and don’t like it is dreadfully sad. I would love to boil water without burning the house down into ashes. Thanks so much for the nomination!

Aw girl thank you! I appreciate your appreciation for my amazingness π π I’m definitely going full power ranger mode on my birthday, with a FULL transformation! And the baking is a serious love-hate relationship- it’s cool to make nice things but I don’t enjoy the process for some reason. Oh, the woes of being me…
Anyway, have fun with the award!

Anytime! Are you going to go home with power ranger costume then too? Promise to go all out if you do. π I imagine the frosting part is the best. What?! You better appreciate the baking talent cause my kids are gonna be crying when they take a slice of homemade cake. π You bet I will!

I’m going ALL the way. The whole costume transformation! Sure if you put effort into your baking I’m sure your children won’t cry too much… π

I’m gonna buy them from the nearby bakery and put a recipe book in front of me to make it seem like I’m skilled.π

Congratulations on the award! Your blog sure is a lovely one ^^
Thank you so much for the nomination too! I’ve done this one already but I might post it again in the future.
So you suffer from withdrawal when you don’t get chocolate, huh? Well then, welcome aboard sister! I have to at least get a tiny piece of chocolate everyday xD It used to be much worse though π
I’ve expressed my admiration for your athletic skills in the past but I’ll do it again: THAT IS SO AWESOME! And I hope you get to do all of that stuff for your birthday! It takes some guts but you totally got it π
Thank you once again β€

Thank you for the lovely comment! And the chocolate obsession…it’s really serious. Wherever I go, my friends and family complain about me. Between themselves, to each other…But I don’t care π π
And I definitely think I’m going ahead with my birthday plans, life’s too short to not take risks π As for the athletics, it’s completely opposite to my book-reader persona but I get bored easily and like to be active!
