1000 Likes- My Gratitude For a Huge Milestone!

So, it’s 4 a.m. and here I was, lying in bed like the potato I am, just about to go to sleep when I decided to quickly check my blog. And then, to my utmost surprise and delight, I was presented with this amazing notification*:

I had to stop myself from crying and/or spontaneously performing a dance of joy! I did permit myself one silent, victory fist pump because like I said, it’s 4 a.m. and my family thinks I’m crazy enough already without waking the whole house up with my celebrations 😀

But, joking aside, words cannot describe how utterly grateful I am to all the amazing and kind-hearted bloggers who have supported me all this time. To every single person who took the time to read and like my posts, you are the reason I’ve kept going for so long. I still remember when I first started blogging, and even getting my first 5 likes made me so happy! To reach 1000 is unfathomable to me, and I’m so grateful.

So, if you’re reading this and you helped contribute to this milestone, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And to all the newer bloggers out there, keep going. You’ll get there, too. Whether it takes you a few weeks to reach 1000 likes, or almost a year like me, you’ll get there! I never minded if I didn’t achieve a huge audience, because blogging is a hobby I’ve always wanted to do regardless of how many people took notice. So it’s nice to see that someone, somewhere, appreciates what I write and keeps me going with their support 🙂

*Fun little bit of info: I wrote this post on my phone and checked it the next day, only to find that the picture I posted above (the notification) was not to scale and was, in fact, a gargantuan picture that took up a lot of the page *facepalm*. Note to self, stop writing posts on your phone where you can’t edit them properly 😀
